Your general health is often based upon how happy and content you are emotionally. Whether you realize it or not, your ailments seem less … well, ailing, if you are happy.
People say, “Onyx Coale, if I were skinnier, I would be happy. If I were richer, I would be happy. If I had a new partner, I would be happy. If I had a new job, I would be happy.”
Honestly, if you ripped “if” from your vocabulary, then a lot less would need to be said about how to make you happy.
When you consistently set your sights on things, situations, or people then you lose sight of what truly makes you happy or what really matters most.
Instead, look at what you do have: a house to live in, a spouse that loves you, a job that pays you and everything you’re good at.
Then have that cherry soda that you know you love and smile. That is what happiness is about.
